General Membership Meeting Atlas Salt Guest Speaker
The Bay St. George Chamber of Commerce is hosting Robert Booth- VP of Construction and Engineering from Atlas Salt as a Guest Speaker at our next General Membership Meeting scheduled for May 6th2025 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM, at the Days Inn- Stephenville.
A dinner of Lasagna and Caesar Salad will be served as well as tea/coffee and dessert. We are looking forward to another great event for our area that we anticipate will be educational and informative for all who attend.
The cost for the event will be $25 for members and $30for non members. The deadline to confirm attendance will be Thursday May 1st 2025.
We require all attendees to provide at least 24 hours notice when canceling. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged for the full session using the invoice already generated at the time of confirmation.
ALL General Membership Meetings can be attended by ANY member of our Region, you do not have to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

Scholarship Certificate Criteria 2025
❖ Applicants must be within the immediate family of a Chamber member.
❖ Must be a resident of Bay St. George.
❖ Must be attending 1st year of a recognized post-secondary institution.
❖ Preference will be given (but not limited) to students studying in a field of
Business and/or Commerce.
❖ If no qualified applicant is found, scholarship may not be awarded.
❖ Scholarship value: $500.00.
❖ A committee of the Chamber will screen applicants and grant the Scholarship.
❖ Family of applicants can not serve on the Screening Process.
❖ Applicant will have met all eligibility Criteria.
❖ Academic achievement will be considered (must maintain 75% average).
❖ Decision of committee is final.
❖ Consideration will be given to applicants who are involved in community-
based activities.
