Through the strength of its members, the Bay St. George Chamber of Commerce acts as a remarkable concentration of resources from which new ideas are created and potential business opportunities are identified.

Leo Bruce Award

The Leo Bruce Award is awarded annually to a nominee who has excelled in all areas of business and shows leadership within the Bay St. George region. They are chosen for their business ethics, innovation and their support for local suppliers and community.

Scholarship

The Chamber scholarship is awarded to a first-year post-secondary student based on their academic achievement and community involvement. It is open exclusively to the immediate family of Chamber members.

Who Can Join?

  • Persons who are or have been directly involved with business or business development, who live and/or operate in the Bay St. George region.
  • Businesses or organizations that are involved with businesses or business development who operate in the Bay St. George region.
  • Persons who live in the Bay St. George region of Western Newfoundland are eligible for consideration as a non-voting member of The Association.
  • Organizations, Government Agencies, and Non-Profit Entities which operate in the Bay St. George region are eligible for consideration as a non-voting member of The Association.
