Atlas Salt Inc. is developing the Great Atlantic Salt project; North America’s premier salt development project here on the West Coast in the town of St. George’s. With a commitment to providing clean salt to the marketplace, using as much energy as possible to do so, Atlas Salt is built on three core pillars: strategic location, innovative design, and sustainable mining.

Strategic Location: The mine is close to key infrastructure and to the markets they plan to serve helping to reduce transportation time,costs, and emissions.

Innovative Design: All operations, including our conveyor system, are powered by renewable energy supplied by the provincial grid, and are carried out below ground, minimizing land disturbance, noise and dust dispersion.

Sustainable Mining: Atlas Salt is committed to responsible mining practices that uphold their values of environmental stewardship,community engagement and innovation.
