Mi’kmaw Cultural Foundation is a registered charity organization based in Stephenville, Newfoundland and Labrador, dedicated to preserving, revitalizing, and celebrating Mi’kmaw culture, language, and identity across Ktaqmkuk (Newfoundland).

Through a wide range of educational, artistic, and land-based programs, MCF fosters cultural pride and intergenerational learning within Mi’kmaw communities. Its initiatives include youth gatherings, language revitalization projects, cultural workshops, and collaborations with schools and organizations to expand access to authentic Mi’kmaw resources.

MCF also supports community development through social enterprise, partnerships, and capacity-building, strengthening connections between Mi’kmaw people, their lands, and cultural practices. Guided by Elders, knowledge keepers, and community voices, the Foundation is committed to advancing reconciliation, cultural renewal, and sustainable growth for future generations.
